Last night, we discussed with the children that while both mine and Dave's jobs remain uncertain, we will need to cut back our expenses. We've already dropped gymnastics, which was a large chunk, and purely coincidental timing, but now I'm suggesting that we drop piano. After all, they don't willingly practice very often. They mostly just roll their eyes when I mention it. And yes, sometimes I even get a wee bit of attitude.
Surprise! Rather than being overjoyed, they all begged to stay in until lessons naturally end for the summer.

Huh, figures. Now that I am an adult who can't play the piano nearly as well as I should for all the lessons my parents paid for I have so many regrets. Good for them for not being quitters. =)
I always wished I had stuck with my piano lessons. Ahhh, hindsight, it really is 20/20 isn't it. But I was impossible at that age, and I don't blame my parents for letting me quit, I never made it easy on them.
This market really does stink! So sorry! You never know what you got until it's gone...they may end up begging you to stay in piano.
I'm glad they're staying! I quit a couple of times, but ended up majoring in it! YIKES! Wouldn't trade all the practice and eye rolling for anything
