Sickening

Real life gas prices from downtown San Diego. And the prices in our neighborhood honestly aren't that much cheaper. Makes me wonder if the Peak Oil people are onto something after all. . .

Don't feel too bad yet because I just did the conversion from gallons to litres with the price of gas at the station around the corner from us and it translates into $5.63 a gallon. It makes me want to puke--and I don't even drink milk.

We are buying a hybrid next.

Yes, as much as I hate the prices, I usually am the first one to point out that gas was over $1 a quart in the UK when we were there 4 years ago.

No matter how much we pay, we still get a better deal than most of the other countries. We should really be grateful.

The SUV we needed for the crazy Utah snow is not so necessary here, in Oregon. A hybrid is looking nice to me. Either that or hope that they figure out how to turn garbage into fuel soon.
